Who We Are Welcome to the official website of the Los Angeles Centers for Alcohol and Drug Abuse (L.A. CADA)! We are a licensed and certified provider of substance use and behavioral treatment services, recognized by the State of California’s Department of Health Care Services and the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Health – Substance Abuse Prevention and Control. At L.A. CADA, our mission is to help individuals struggling with addiction and behavioral problems. We are dedicated to providing client-centered, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented services. Our team consists of caring and qualified professionals who are licensed, certified, and registered. Our range of care and treatment services covers a wide continuum, including outpatient, intensive outpatient, and residential programs. These comprehensive addiction care options are available for adults aged 18 and over. Additionally, we offer outpatient services for adolescents aged 12 to 17. In addition to our core programs, L.A. CADA provides various specialized counseling services. These include Drug Education/Diversion, Parenting Education, Anger Management, and Domestic Violence counseling. Our counseling services are authorized or approved by reputable organizations such as the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, the Los Angeles County Department of Probation, the Los Angeles County Superior Court, and the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services. We also offer HIV/AIDS prevention and intervention services, including HIV testing.
